The military institutions in the globalized world are undergoing transformational processes, which were fully developed in the last century, however, with modernization, systemic, systemic and psychosocial threats, they are currently implementing transformational changes and adapting to new scenarios, threats and latent risks, so they are obliged to be articulated with the purposes of the State, the common good of its population. This new scenario faced by the armed institutions has been distinguishing psychosocial problems that affect the individual and the members of the institution. This risk, such as misguided paths, bad decisions, and a lack of strengthening in deontological aspects in the positions they hold, cause a detriment to the institutional image with the intervention and sanction of the administrative control organs of the state. In this sense, the main objective was to analyze the importance of the deontological approach in performance evaluation and job design in the Peruvian Army. For this purpose, the qualitative approach was followed by means of the following research instruments: the interview guide, the observation guide and the focus group guide, applied through open questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with specialists, which allowed us to carry out a brief analysis of this approach from an organizational perspective. Concluding that the performance evaluation and the deontological approach are closely linked for an efficient job design, characteristics that are an integral part of the appreciation of every commander, being imperative to consolidate deontological aspects in all fields of military activity by the personnel administration, which will contribute to strengthening the principles of leadership, discipline, values, principles, in all grades of the officer's competence.
